Product Review: Readi-Lure Fishing Tackle Box
Listen up co-anglers...this tackle box was made with you in mind...
Say goodbye to the days of fishing for tackle instead of fish! The innovative horizontally-loading design of the Readi-Lure® fishing tackle box ensures fast and easy access to all of your bait and tackle. With the unique twin 4-drawer storage system and multiple removable compartments, bait and lures of varying sizes and shapes are easily reached. The fishing tackle box is made of a durable, translucent polypropylene plastic that is both lightweight when empty and allows nighttime content visibility with the assistance of a flashlight. The state-of-the-art octagonal design provides a variety of compartment sizes for storage of up to 200 fishing baits while keeping the fishing tackle box well-organized.
Charlotte Frazier, WBT angler, has this to say about her Readi-Lure Tackle Box:
I really do like my tackle box. You can see what you are looking for so easy. The drawers are easy to organize hooks and weights. I have other drawers full of topwaters and small crankbaits. My larger lures are in shelves that are easy to find. I pulled out a few drawers to put bags of soft plastics in. They have a cd with instructions on how to organize the box to suit your needs. Great Idea!!
Avialable in four colors including the "LADY ANGLER" in Passion Pink

Before, I got my Mustang Survival Vest, I had been wearing a competitive brand of self inflating PFD for almost ten years. Fortunately, I have never fallen overboard or had an accidental inflation, but, I have angler friends who have had an accidental inflation of another brand of PFD. The brand that I had been wearing required maintenance at least annually and more often if worn in humid conditions. Actually, I was never really sure it would inflate when I needed it as there wasn't any way to check it.
Pros:
I have piece of mind since I've been wearing my Mustang PFD. I can visibly check the status of the PFD and it only needs maintenance once every five years (unless it has been inflated). Plus, I can manually inflate it to check for leaks.
My Mustang PFD is very comfortable to wear and I am seldom aware that it is on...and, I wear it all of the time I am fishing. The neoprene neck collar is an improvement over my previous PFD which had a tendency to rub my neck. Even when it is hot, the Mustang is not uncomfortable!
Cons:
The retail price is over $200.00. (Mustang manufactures non autiomatic-infalting PFD's at a lower price point.) Some states require that the vest be worn at all times if worn in lieu of a Type lll PFD.

Blackfin--The Ultimate Skeg Replacement
Reviewd by Madeline Smith
Thank goodness, I had just recenlty applied the Black Fin (prior to the Red River torunament)...it saved my lower unit when I ran over a sumerged dike. Yes, it did damage the Black Fin...but, my gears were still intact and the Black fin has been replaced at a cost of $70.00...a lot less than a new lower unit!
